AUMKARA — sacred, eternal, cosmic adornment

Healing Crystals Guide

8 min read · Spiritual Knowledge Hub

The crystal market is full of dyed glass and reconstituted powder. Learning three or four checks protects you for life.

Telling natural from fake

Natural stone feels cool to the touch and warms slowly. Look for small internal variations — banding, tiny inclusions, slight colour differences between beads. Perfect uniformity is a warning sign.

Dyed stone often shows colour pooling in the drill hole. Glass shows air bubbles and moulding seams.

The stones we work with

Pyrite and citrine for flow and confidence; tiger eye for focus; black tourmaline and red jasper for grounding; amethyst and clear quartz for clarity; rose quartz and moonstone for emotional ease; amazonite and aventurine for calm growth.

Each of our bracelets lists its exact stones, weight and bead size on the product page so you know precisely what you are wearing.

Cleansing and charging

Smoke cleansing with incense or camphor is the gentlest method and safe for every stone we sell. Indirect moonlight overnight works well for quartz family stones.

Avoid salt water and long soaks — they damage pyrite, dull tiger eye and swell rudraksha.

Storing

Keep bracelets in the pouch they arrive in, away from perfume and direct sunlight. Elastic-strung pieces last longest when rolled off the wrist rather than stretched over the hand.

In short

Buy certified, cleanse with smoke, store dry. Simple habits keep a natural stone bracelet good for years.
